Today, TMHS’s mascot the Wildcat gained not only a name, but a companion.

At the climax of the morning’s pep rally, it was announced that Wally the Wildcat—whose name was voted on by the student body—was a lonely mascot, not having a companion to his name and wandering the halls desolate in search of somebody to love. Born from the ashes of this crushing loneliness was Sylvie the Wildcat, a female counterpart to TMHS’s already-beloved mascot.

The two Wildcats joyously united for the first time at the pep rally, sharing a hug and prompting the audience in the stadiums to voice their appreciation for TMHS.
