Striking the Stage

Larissa Gomez

As the Rivers and Ravines play came to an end the stage was left in quite a mess. To make sure it looked brand new again, Mr. Ballew’s theater classes were told to “Strike the Stage.” When “striking the stage” you are to basically clean it, paint it, and just make sure that it looks in tip top shape. As all the theatre kids got straight to work on their assigned jobs, the stage slowly began to look as it did when the school opened. In a matter of hours the stage was “stripped” and ready to be used again by the faculty and students ofTomballMemorialHigh School.
