It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

With the cold weather starting to hit  Tomball, on December 9, 2011 the Tomball Memorial Girls Choir gave TMHS a dose of holiday spirit. The girl’s choir sung a medley of Christmas songs like Away in A Manger, O Come All Ye Faithful and We Wish You a Merry Christmas to B lunch and C lunch to get everyone in the Christmas spirit.

“We rehearsed everyday for this,” said choir teacher Sherry Miller, “it took us almost 6 weeks to prepare for this.” These short performances follow the TMHS choir program’s joint performance with the Willow Wood Junior High School choir.

The feedback from students was tremendous from students as they cheered for the girls. “It was really cool,” said Summer Jalil, “it helps the school get into the holiday spirit.”

“I loved it,” said Jared Lewis, “it was just like a dinner and a show.” The girls were very cheerful after their performance as they walked back to the choir room to practice for their next performance. “This is just another reason why I love being in the choir,” said Emmy Alamilla.
