FFA prepares for Area after winning sweepstakes at District

On Friday, Nov. 9, about 30 FFA students travelled to Lone Star College in Tomball to compete in their North District-level contest. Out of the ten teams that competed, nine placed either first or second and advanced to Area, which will also be held at Lone Star on Friday, Nov. 16.

The teams that advanced include:

-Public Relations
-Chapter Ag. Quiz
-Jr. FFA Quiz
-Ag. Advocacy
-Jr. Creed Speaking
-Sr. Chapter Conducting
-Job Interview
-Sr. Ag. Skills Demo.
-Sr. Creed Speaking

“Working with the team is always such a fun experience,” sophomore Grace Williams said. “Every competition always has a competitive but very friendly environment.”
