The new official district alignment came out placing Tomball in District 15-6A from 2020 to 2022. Unlike before, TMHS will compete in UIL sports and academic events against schools in Klein ISD as opposed to Cy Fair.

District 15-6A includes Klein High School, Klein Cain High School, Klein Collins High School, Klein Forest High School, Klein Oak High School, Tomball High School and Tomball Memorial High School.
After winning the first invitational meet in January against two schools in the new district assignment, UIL academics sponsor Janet Stackhouse feels confident in placing again. Looking forward, the UIL team plans to charge into districts at full force on March 28.
“In every event we competed in kids won medals,” Stackhouse said.
After competing against two schools that will compete in this district during the invitational, Stackhouse feels confident in placing again.
“I feel optimistic since we scored so well against the schools we will see at district,” Stackhouse said. “We have very strong teams.”
Though some teams lost competitors with many medal-winning competitors graduating, new students proved themselves just as capable in the eyes of advisors.
“The teams that are building have shown their strength in competitions,” Stackhouse said. “I’m hoping we can place either first or second at district.”
