Last night, the Freshmen Navy team defeated the Galena Park Yellowjackets 48-0 to start off their season with a 1-o record.  Both freshmen teams shutout their opponents this week.

The Junior Varsity Navy team also swept away their competition with a 42-0 victory over Galena Park, putting four out of five Wildcat football teams at a 1-0 record so far.

The Varsity Wildcats were named as Houston’s Team of the Week by KUBE Channel 57 and will be featured on both this Saturday and Sunday at 6 p.m.  The Cats play tonight at Galena Park ISD Stadium at 7:00, hoping to repeat last year’s 42-14 victory over the Yellowjackets.
