“I feel like we are ready for Districts now,” junior Tom Dombrowsky said.  “I can’t wait to play the next team.”

The girls’ Varsity team beat Klein Collins, also a 6A school, 1-0.  Freshman Alexa Riddle scored the only goal of the match.  They finished their preseason with a record of 5-3.

The JV girls’ team tied 2-2, with goals from junior Angel Zeigbo and sophomore Macey Hodge.

“We are playing great together,” junior Allie Pearson said.  “I’m excited for this season.”

On Jan. 26, the teams will face off against Huntsville for their first Districts game of the season.  The boys will play away at 7:30 p.m., and the girls kick off at home at 6 p.m.
