Junior Braedon Nutter carried the American flag as the Wildcats charged onto the field to cheers from the away side.

 

Lined up alongside the tunnel, the Silver Stars welcomed the team.

 

Members of the Roarin’ Blue Band waited to perform the school song before the game.

 

Seniors Jorden Gidrey (left) and Colbie Habermacher (right) stood for the national anthem.

 

The newest addition to Friday Night Lights this season, the yell leaders, showed off their school spirit with blue paint and decorated overalls.

 

Senior Kaitlyn Bothmann amped up fans after kickoff.

 

Senior Justin Castanon also fired up the crowd.

 

Trainers helped make sure that the players had plenty of water to drink.

 

At the end of the first quarter, the Wildcats held the lead 6-3.

At halftime, choir members performed traditional American songs alongside their Cougar counterparts.

 

The Silver Stars (captain senior Lexi Cross pictured above) and Tomball’s Charms dazzled the crowd with a skirt routine.

 

Color guard also took the field at halftime, spinning flags along the perimeter of the bands’ formation.

 

In the second half, the Wildcats made sure that the Cougars could not claw their way back to the top.

 

Quarterback junior Chandler Galban headed towards the sidelines after a play.

 

The Wildcats’ running backs tired out the Coogs’ defense all night long.

 

After winning, senior Blake Shoemaker (#68) helped lead the celebrations.

 

After the game ended, the Roarin’ Blue Band performed their show, Clair de Loon, and displayed their new uniforms for the first time.
